Why Black Is Addictive….

There is something bordering on the cultish in fashions’ devotion to the colour black.

Why? Black is a presence, not an absence of colour. Black can be so versatile and have some many wildly different fashion statements projected on to it. As my fashion palette matures, I am growing to appreciate how the colour black can give you an outline, a silhouette.

More Is More, Yellow…

You know the less I picture how things should go or might go, the better they do go. I let myself be inspired by my surroundings, get dressed and enjoy the experience rather than kill it before the fashion vision can take shape.

Boost Of Colour…

Yellow is really my “go to” colour at the moment. It promises to be both universally flattering and to transform an outfit from bland to bold.

Do you dare to wear yellow? Show me how you do it here.

Off Duty: Something Different…

Some time ago I professed my love for overalls despite being in my late twenties – don’t judge me. On this day, my boo and I just strolled the Brisbane streets taking snaps. I still believe that overalls a very versatile, flexing their style muscle even when off duty.

Make Dat Thang Pop…

There is some days that you want to wear something that just blends in – but you still want to make that thang pop. Some might decide to throw on a statement necklace, earrings or in this case a metallic skirt.

Revival Of The Body Con Dress…

Did the trend ever really go away though? As you can see the body con dress is not just for size zeros. Part of me even thinks that you need to have some dangerous curves ahead to really pull of the look.  For a little magic find a dress with panels because they will simultaneously slim and sculpt while the dip in the neckline will accentualte the chest and collar bones.

Above all you need to have confidence and own the look.
